This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
How are you so amazing? I had a totally conceited answer for this. But. I won't.
What program do you use? I use Clip Studio Paint Pro. [link]
Assuming you have a tablet, which one do you have? I'm currently using a Wacom Intuos4, but plan on getting a cintiq24hd in the future. But honestly I could do well with a Bamboo Fun Tablet. It's really not the tablet, but the skill behind it! ^ 0^
When did you start doing digital art? My first venture with digital art started in 2006 with being an art thief. I traced, recolored, the whole 9. But eventually I realized that my art would continue to be shitty until I stopped the bullshit and drew on my own.
How long time does it take to make your average chibi piece? Uhhhhmmm It can take me anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the inspiration/free time I have. Being a full-time college student, and all. Uni is no joke. At all.
What do you like most with drawing? I love coloring the most, if you haven't noticed that already /shot
Does the carpet match the drapes? 8D Well...my drapes are aqua and my carpet was purple...... until my dog peed on it So..yes? If you're a color theory freak?
Can you do request art for people? I'm sorry but I only do freebies and requests for close/good friends/people that deserve it. I don't ever do requests from strangers that I don't know. RL commissions are a different story.
Inspiration for your personal drawings? Hmm. Well. Tbh I barely ever draw personal drawings anymore. Most of what I draw are commissions for other people. But when I do sit down to draw, I try to clear my mind and just let whatever gets on to the canvas flow and not think too hard about what's correct and incorrect.
What got you into drawing? When I was in the second grade, I had this friend who was pretty good at drawing. She'd look at a picture in a picture book and would draw it on a piece of paper, almost perfectly. So I decided I wanted to do it too, and on my first try, was considerably better than she was. I stopped drawing for a while after that, and my first love turned into books. When I was eleven years old, I discovered anime, and it influenced my art greatly. I was a weeaboo, blurting out Japanese phrases here and there, acting all kawaii sugoi desu.
Eventually I grew out of the weeaboo phase but my love for drawing stayed and it has evolved up to here, I guess. And I guess what I mistook for an obsession with the Japanese culture turned into a love for different languages, cultures, and music.
